iovera° – Modern kryoneurolys med ultraljudsguidad frysning av smärtnerver

iovera° är den senaste tekniska utvecklingen inom kryoneurolys som i en kompakt design erbjuder effektiv och säker smärtlindring utan användning av värktabletter eller kortison. iovera°-tekniken är specifikt framtagen för att långvarigt behandla smärttillstånd vid artros och i perifera nerver. Med ultraljudsguidning placeras en sluten miniprob med 1 mm diameter i direkt anslutning till den smärtande nerven. Genom ett snabbt flöde av dikväveoxid inuti proben kyls nerven på några sekunder ned till under -20° C och smärtsignaler blockeras via en process som kallas Wallersk degeneration. Smärtlindringen är ofta snabb och långvarig och utan de biverkningar som förknippas med olika former av läkemedelsbehandling. iovera° -metoden är ett modernt och mer tilltalande alternativ till radiofrekvensdenervering. Kombinera kryoneurolys med annan behandling

iovera° kan med fördel kombineras med regenerativa behandlingar som proloterapi och C-PRF, eller med hydrodilatation för att öka rörligheten vid tillstånd som Frozen Shoulder.
